Three Day Pilgrimage
The Three Day Pilgrimage is delayed until later in the summer.
At this time Lough Derg has begun to work through the public health protocols to ensure the Island can open when it is safe to do so and pilgrims can return with confidence. In line with the Government roadmap to ease restrictions we will make an announcement about opening in due course.
This June we are offering a very different experience to keep Lough Derg connected with the many people who would make the Three Day Pilgrimage during the early weeks of the Season. Pilgrims who will not be able to come to the Island this season are invited to ‘do Lough Derg from wherever they are’, alongside the Prior and some members of the Lough Derg Pastoral team who will take their shoes off to do the full pilgrimage over that weekend.
Do Lough Derg from wherever you are June 27 – 29
Over these three days, we are offering the opportunity to ‘Do Lough Derg from wherever you are’
