An opportunity for you and your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family friends to enjoy the special nature of Lough Derg before the start of the new school year.

During the morning there are specially tailored age-appropriate activities for children and adults will have the opportunity for more traditional prayers and reflections. In the afternoon everyone will come together for a special Family Mass.

Boats to the Island are available from 9.30am, the boat journey to the Island is less than 10 minutes. Boats return from the Island to the lakeshore from 4.00pm.

On arrival on the Island refreshments are served.

Following the morning activity a light lunch is served: soup & sandwiches for adults and hot food & soft drink for children.
