Vocations Camino

Join Fr. La Flynn, Prior of Lough Derg and Bishops Alphonsus Cullinane (Waterford & Lismore) and Larry Duffy (Clogher) as they walk the Lakeshore Pilgrim Path at Lough Derg. This special day is part of the special year of prayer for Vocation to the Diocesan Priesthood here in Ireland.

The 8km walk will be about 4 hours in duration, along gentle terrain, and will include short intervals for prayer and reflection along the way. Toilet facilities are available at the Visitor Centre and at the midway point (4km). Weather permitting, we will have a simple mass, reminiscent of ‘Penal Times’ at a Mass Rock. The day will conclude with a visit to Station Island for a light lunch.
