Now in its 4th year, this year popular day provides rare opportunity for you and your children (grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, godchildren) to enjoy the special atmosphere of the Island before going back to school. Child-focused the day will celebrate the joy that children can bring-adults however will also get a much-earned break in the morning when they drop off the children to Davog House for themed age specific art and craft morning, while they be inspired by prayer and guidance in the Basilica.

 

Families come together for lunch and some free time-perfect time for grandparents to show the younger generation around the Island. Everyone will come together in the afternoon for a family prayer service in Davog House before departing the Island at 3pm.

 

Ideal for: families, whatever the make-up, grandparents, children, uncle, aunts, nieces and nephews (up to age 15)

 

Children under 4 are admitted free of charge, however will be asked to remain with their guardians throughout the day. Children between the ages of 4 and 15 will be invited to take part in the age specific art and craft activities.
