One Day Retreats Resume at Lough Derg

Now that the tradtional three day pilgrimage has ended, Lough Derg will be once again welcoming pilgrims for one day of guided prayer. Pilgrims do not have to fast or remove their shoes and can enjoy a reflective day of prayer at the pilgrimage Island. Retreats are open to all adults and run every day (except Thursdays and Fridays) from 19th August -24th September. Booking is required:telephone 00353719861518.

75th Anniversary of the Consecration of the Basilica

St.Patrick's Basilica celebrates the 75th Anniversary of its consecration today. A special Mass will mark the occasion and will be enjoyed by the final pilgrims of the 2006 Season.
