Over the last twenty years, almost €20 million euro has been spent on the upkeep and development of Lough Derg-thanks to the generosity of pilgrims. Work during the past decade (Creation of Davog House, new shop, remedial work to St. Patrick's Basilica and restoration of St. Mary's, the pier and paving) cost almost €4m. The current debt is now at €1.5m.
Your support will help towards paying off the remaining debt and ensure that our time and energy can be more directed towards pilgrims, young and old, on their journey of reconciliation, growth and healing.
There are a number of ways you can help

Show your support by making a direct donation to Lough Derg today. Donations of any amount, small or large can make a real difference. By donating you will automatically become a valued part of our "Rainbow of Hope" launched in 2010 and already well on it's way to achieving it's initial targets. Find out more about this now or to make your donation click here
A Standing Order allows you to contribute a designated amount each month - or indeed other terms can be agreed upon such as an Annual or quarterly donation. As little as €15 per month over 10 years will amount to €2,000
Perhaps you may have some disposable income that you would like to lend us on an interest free basis - thus significantly reducing our bank charges.
Leave a Legacy: When making your Will, consider the future generations of pilgrims. The value you have created during your life-time will help to ensure the continued development of this "Place Apart". Further information on these particular options can be obtained by contacting the Prior, Monsignor Richard Mohan
