On Sunday 22nd April 2012, Lough Derg Manager - Deborah Maxwell will take part in the London Marathon and in doing so will not only raise much needed funds for Lough Derg but will also be supporting the charity Get Kids Going - a charity which helps disabled children to get into sports. This will be the first time Deborah has run the London marathon and you will be able to follow Deborah's progress as she embarks on her gruelling training schedule.

Our annual fundraising campaignt o support Lough Derg. Based on the knowledge that 20,000 pilgrims visited Lough Derg in 2009, if every pilgrim left behind a voluntary donation of €20, our annual loan would have been repaid – an amazing gift of generosity to Lough Derg. As we know, a rainbow has 7 colours, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Therefore the challenge is – “Which Colour are you” with each colour representing a different level of donation.
